CCTV4U are trying to do their bit for the environment by giving all new customers the option to have low energy LED LCD monitors fitted on new installations of CCTV.

Tests carried out by our technical department have proven the new low energy monitors to be a success. Picture quality is impressive along with the peace of mind that you are using less energy. “Carbon footprint” was an expression previously unheard of but, with more and more people taking their environmental responsibilities seriously, anything that can be done to slow down global warming is a plus.
CCTV4U already suggest that all CCTV monitors be switched off when not being used in an effort to increase the working life of the screen and to reduce power usage.
