A sports centre located in Trimsaran, Wales have decided to install “Mosquito’s” to help curb anti-social behaviour around the premises. Alongside having a new 16 camera CCTV system the Mosquito’s will help to reduce the trouble they have recently been experiencing.

When we say “mosquito’s we don’t mean those annoying biting insects which can ruin your holiday but a clever little box that disperses groups of youths. It works by emitting a high pitch alarm which proves to be extremely annoying and causes trouble makers to move on. The best part about it is that as we grow older we loose our ability to hear high pitch noises so the annoying noise is inaudible by most adults.

While installing the Mosquito units our engineers tested the system with a group of local youths who confirmed the noise was enough to move them on. Installing the units on a timer insures that the system is only operational after normal business hours.
